August Topic – Apple Watch Development with Xamarin’s Watch Kit
Dick Tracy ain’t got nothin’ on us. The Apple Watch is out in the wild and there’s never been a better time to start playing with the newest, and smallest iOS platform, WatchOS. Xamarin’s Watch Kit support was released in March of this year, and we’re going to spend some time looking at all the capabilities, what you need to know to start developing, and a glimpse at new features promised in the next release.

Presented By Tom Soderling
Tom Soderling is a .NET developer and consultant with a background in web and desktop applications. Two years ago he jumped at the opportunity to switch his focus to the mobile space and now builds enterprise cross-platform mobile apps for Fortune 500 clients at ITR Mobility using C#, Xamarin, and the iFactr platform. Tom is a Xamarin Certified Mobile Developer, has recently released his first personal app to the iOS App Store, and can’t believe he gets to read MacRumors as part of his job.

About the Group
Led by local developers, the Minnesota Enterprise Mobile User Group is a place to come together to share knowledge, experiences, and lessons learned with the development community regarding enterprise mobile development, with a focus on mobile cross-platform application development and the Xamarin toolset.
