April Topic – Synchronizing Mobile Data Using Couchbase and Azure
Mobile apps frequently have a need to store data on both the device and a centralized server. Keeping this data synchronized can vary from the simple to the very complex. We’ll take a look at the issues developers face in implementing sync and some ways to approach the challenges.

Recently released sync frameworks promise to make the job easier. We’ll dive into some Xamarin-based examples of syncing with the Couchbase framework and also Azure Mobile Services to see how they make it easier to coordinate data between devices and servers.

Joe is the Mobile Solution Lead at RBA. Joe first worked with paper tape storage in high school, punch cards in college and has been involved with mobile technologies since working with Windows Mobile 7 years ago. Joe has been involved with Xamarin technologies since 2012.
