July Topic – Microsoft Build 2017 Recap for Xamarin Developers
This year’s Microsoft Build conference was nothing short of amazing. It’s hard to stay on top of all the new and exciting announcements from Xamarin so we’d like to show off a few favorites. We’ll take a look at the announcement of general availability of Visual Studio for Mac, the Xamarin Live Player, SkiaSharp, Xamarin.Forms for Mac, UrhoSharp, Workbooks, and much more!
Presented by John Hunter
John Hunter is an Assistant Organizer for the Minnesota Enterprise Mobility group and the Xamarin Practice Lead at Spōk where he is busily working on a secure medical texting application. He has worked professionally with Xamarin and cross-platform projects since the Novell days. When he’s not coding or binging superhero shows on NetFlix, he can be found creating piles of sawdust on his woodturning lathe.
Presented by Adam Zucchi
Adam Zucchi is a co-founder/organizer of the Minnesota Enterprise Mobile user group and is also a Xamarin certified mobile developer working at Mobile Composer in Minneapolis. He has been working in the mobile space since the introduction of the iOS SDK. Adam is also part owner of the Green Bay Packers.
Presented by Steve Killingbeck
Steve Killingbeck is one of the group Co-Founders and has been a professional developer for ~20 years with ~4 years in the mobile dev space. Steve has been a consultant for most of his career and has traveled extensively. Besides mobile, his interests also include multimedia development, audio/music/video production, VJ-ing live music events, Security & Privacy, Inventing/Making things.
About the Group
Led by local developers, the Minnesota Enterprise Mobile User Group is a place to come together to share knowledge, experiences, and lessons learned with the development community regarding enterprise mobile development, with a focus on mobile cross-platform application development and the Xamarin toolset.
